STATEMENT
My work expresses a love of systems and a catalogue of feelings. Measurement, color, abstraction and nuance of movement inform the compositions. The paintings mark time and its passage and are labor intensive, employing dozens of layers of paint. I research the topic of each series in depth and continue the series until I am satisfied. Currently, I am completing the Benefits portion of the Wealth and Benefits series. The Benefits reference individuals who have given of their time and treasure to advance the human condition.
